Outdoor Parking Device LPR
This parking device was designed for Darae Parktech, a company specializing in LPR (License Plate Recognition) systems for on-street parking. Installed across various roads and private properties in Seoul, it supports urban parking services.
The project aimed to move away from the conventional industrial and purely functional image of existing LPR devices. As the product is placed in public environments—frequently encountered by pedestrians and often installed in multiples—it was designed with a simple, unobtrusive bollard-like presence. Within this restrained form, a layered composition of refined geometries creates a subtle yet distinctive identity. The layered front surface incorporates lighting, providing a warm and reassuring atmosphere for pedestrians, especially at night.
Considering its installation on public roads in Seoul, the design adopts the city's representative colors, "Sambe" and "Doldam." This approach not only enhances contextual harmony but also strengthens the client's competitiveness in public bids.
